Virtual Computer Operations Manager

Position functions:
- Will report to the company owner(s) or designated representative to determine the technology goals for the company. Includes analysis of the computer and information needs from a strategic perspective and provide recommendations on immediate and long range overall technology requirements. May evaluate the newest technologies to determine usefulness as it related to competitive advantage.
- Will develop overall technology requirements, budgets and scheduling for technology projects.
- Will plan, research, coordinate, administrate and (in a small company) implement the use of all computer related technology within a company. This includes the selection, purchase and installation of hardware, software programs,
security
systems, internet
access, network access and overall technology interoperability.
- Will directly supervise all
Computer Operations work of other internal IT staff and third-party contractors. Will be responsible to coordinate all work between internal staff and 3rd party suppliers as needed.
